Accessibility
Everyone should be able to use this site
This website is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Accessibility is part of how we build, not something we add afterwards.
What that means in practice
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a skip link to the main content.
- Text meets at least 4.5:1 contrast against its background, and controls meet 3:1, in both light and dark colour schemes.
- Text can be resized to 200 percent and the layout reflows on narrow screens without sideways scrolling.
- Images and charts have text alternatives. The day plan chart is described in words, not just colours and shapes.
- Forms have visible labels, say which fields are required, and explain how to fix any error.
- Animation is reduced when your device asks for reduced motion. Nothing flashes.
- Pages use proper headings, landmarks and lists so screen readers can move around easily.
Known exceptions
None at present. If you find something that does not work for you, we want to know.
